We are there to make sure you get all the epic pictures, bring you food and drinks, organize and have team meetings with your vendors, run your rehearsal and create a detailed timeline and layout, handle any guests who try and make the day about them 😜 and the list goes on. ⠀⠀

Good morning all! I am honored to be taking over the HSEP Instagram for the day! I am Karl Mohr of Mohr Fun Entertainment. Our core services include DJ and MC Services, photobooth experiences of various types, and a range of lighting features. We strive for excellence in all we do!

I am in love with this community of true professionals that have welcomed us here and made it possible for us to call these mountains home. The very first thing I did for my business when I came to the area was to reach out to High South Event Professionals to meet people in the wedding industry. I still very clearly remember my first member meeting— 3.5 years ago! We have come so far in our short time here and I am so grateful for each member of this elite group.

Today I will do my best to give some insider tidbits of what inspires me to excel. Furthermore, I will detail some of the tools that I use to help make weddings fun, and showcase some of our recent events. Finally, I will explain some of the ways that we have saved events using technology in this very strange wedding season. In my business, relationships are a priority. From the start, I want to know who you are and what you value and cherish. The biggest compliment for me would be to walk away from a wedding with a dear friend and most of the time that happens. Nothing makes me happier than to hear the mother of the bride say, “I just know if you lived closer, you and {insert name here} would be best friends!” That literally brings me so much joy. 😭

The relationship goes past being good friends. A strong relationship makes all the difference in a smooth wedding day. From questionnaires to phone chats to your engagement session - they all contribute. Finding out what makes you tick, your preferences, even knowing how to read your facial expressions makes everything click. I always want to be on a couple’s side and do everything I can to serve them well in one of the biggest times of their lives. 🙏🏻

While we’re talking about relationships, let me just mention my promise to you. I vow to serve each and every person regardless of age, sexual orientation, nationality, gender identity, skin color or religion in business and life. You can guarantee it :)👍🏻

I always tell my clients that going through their images after my time with them is like unwrapping birthday presents over and over. 🎁 My philosophy in shooting is to keep things real and to celebrate the moments when you feel the most like yourself. ⁣

I don’t follow the latest editing trends in photography because I want to remain true to classic and traditional style. When you sit down to show your grandchildren your wedding portraits, I want your photographs to stand the test of time and not dated with heavy filters or edits. Natural light is always best. I strive to show you off in the most beautiful way possible while still staying true to the scene. ⁣✌🏼

You're going to see REAL quick my LOVE for color. 🌈 I sure do love a good neutral palate but if you hand me a little color, my heart will burst. I can't help myself!

I believe in family traditions, relationships and heirlooms. To me, photographing your grandparents is equally as important as the ceremony. After my own wedding, I found that the images I cherished most were those of my grandmother and I. Since then, I’ve challenged myself to keep that as a priority. ⁣

50 years from now when your grandchildren ask to see your wedding photos, are you going to whip out your dusty iPhone 10? I believe in heirlooms that last a lifetime, that’s why all of my packages include an album credit. In the age of digital technology, we are the most photographed generation with the least to show for it. I believe strongly in everyone having their memories in a tangible format to activate senses and relive memories. ⁣✌🏼🥂👏🏼
